Over the last 15 years we have been helping homes across the UK, reduce their energy bills by making applications on their behalf for funds to pay for vital heating and insulation work
This Energy Company Obligation (ECO) fund, is a legal directive placed upon all major energy companies requiring them to fund energy efficiency improvements in eligible households with the aim of lifting eligible households out of fuel poverty, whilst reducing the UK’s carbon emissions.
ECO3 is the latest scheme and was introduced in 2018 and is set to run until March 2022, at an estimated cost of £650 million per annum, at which point the scheme will be consolidated as ECO4 into a UK wide Retro-Fit Program.
We are extremely proud to be part of a scheme that has benefitted around 1.9 million homes in the UK, taking vulnerable and low-income households out of fuel poverty.

Beyond the immediate benefit to UK households, the ECO scheme supports the economy, requiring a myriad of businesses and skilled people to deliver it. The scheme further boosts the economy for industries such as manufacturing with demands for energy efficient measures that include loft insulation, cavity wall insulation and replacement boilers.
The scheme is of no cost to government, instead the government places an obligation on energy companies to make UK homes energy efficient in line with wider government policy covered in the Clean Growth Strategy.
The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) is now committed to the operation of the scheme until 2028.
